Ainsley-CherryBlossoms

hello and welcome!

I spent my childhood going to artist studio tours with my family, exploring the forests and lakes of Muskoka and Algonquin Park, and listening to my parent’s 70’s folk music collection. I followed my passion for sustainability into an Environmental Studies degree at the University of Waterloo and have been involved in many adventures in Canada and the UK since.

As a program coordinator and community builder, I focus my energy on inclusive, intergenerational programs that engage and empower our communities through meaningful social change. My career has led me to work with organizations including the Trans Canada Trail, David Suzuki Foundation, Iona Community, Otesha Project, and Katimavik, among others.

As a writer and artist, my work features bold colours and storytelling, often amplifying the beauty of ordinary moments and social causes close to my heart.

Please get in touch if you would like to commission a house portrait or speak with me about opportunities in community building, art, or the outdoors!
